The Sacramento Ballet, performes Wild Sweet Love…an evening that includes 3 complete ballets dedicated to love in all of its complexities, on February 13 through the 16th at the Community Center Theater. (See times below),

Owing to the athleticism of Ron Cunningham’s company of dancers, love will be in the air…literally. Wild Sweet Love is where strength meets beauty, as performed by the Sacramento Ballet. Add a dash of sexy and pinch of spice and season to taste, as they say…and you have an entrancing concoction of love, in all its flavors.

This triple bill features Wild Sweet Love, Wunderland and an original piece by choreographer Ma Cong, formerly with the National Ballet of China.

Live on Stage One, Ballroom with a Twist joins ABC's Dancing with the Stars celebrity professionals Chelsie Hightower and Dmitry Chaplin and FOX's American Idol finalists Gina Glocksen and Von Smith with FOX's So You Think You Can Dance finalists Jonathan Platero, Randi Lynn Strong and Legacy Perez in a frenzy of sizzling dance moves.

Sacramento Museums Honor Veterans with Special Events & Activities in November

In addition to its fascinating Gold Rush past, the Sacramento area is rich with an amazing array of state-of-the-art museums and historic sites that offer visitors the chance to explore California’s fine art, history, science, and wildlife treasures all year long.  In November, many of the 30 members of Sacramento Association of Museums (SAM) are offering special Veteran’s Day related events and activities, including:

Free Museum Admission for Veterans at Maidu Museum & Historic Site – November 6-15
From November 6 to 15, all veterans can enjoy free admission to the Maidu Museum & Historic Site. And, showing daily at 2 p.m. is a one-hour documentary featuring three Northern California Native American veterans that is titled “Original Patriots: Northern California Indian Veterans of WWII”.  For more, visit www.roseville.ca.us/indianmuseum
