Live Indian classical music concert -Bhairav se Bhairavi at Woodlake Edgewater stage
SAHANA and Cognitive Exchange, two non-profit organizations based in Sacramento California, brought Bhairav Se Bhairavi, an Indian classical music program, to Sacramento.  Performed in the beautiful Red Lion Hotel near Cal Expo, on Saturday, October 19th, the show was a great success and sold out. Bhairav Se Bhairavi, has been performing all over the world. It is an exposition of classical Indian musical tradition, based on eternal cyclical clock of day and night. It starts off focusing on Bhairav, the morning ragas, or keys, and ends with Bhairivi, which is a raga that represents the last hour of the day.
