Winters Jr Warriors cheerleading teams competed at the ISAC league competition on Saturday, Oct. 20, in Fair Oaks .
All four divisions did an outstanding job, and came home with trophies. The Jr Midgets took first place, the Midgets placed second, while both the Mitey Mites and the PeeWees placed third. Winters Jr Warriors Cheerleading were very successful, as the girls have all qualified to attend the JAMZ Nationals in Las Vegas, which will be held in January.
The teams attending Nationals are the Pee Wees, Jr Midgets and Midgets. The teams will begin practicing for the Nationals starting in November. Due to the high cost to attend JAMZ Nationals all cheerleaders are required to fundraise to help pay for their expenses.
The Winters Jr Warriors are looking to assist in decreasing their cost by finding sponsors who are willing to help ease the cost of their traveling expenses. Anyone interested sponsoring or providing a donation to support the Winters Jr Warriors Cheerleaders at the JAMZ Nationals, please contact:
