Gathering Helps Call Attention To The Cause

An eclectic and excited group of businesses, organizations, clubs and schools will host tables and booth spaces at the Rely On Us Rally Saturday March 30th as a special part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month opening ceremonies. Helping to inspire and inform the public as to all that can and needs to be done as a way of better protecting our children.

The function is being co-chaired by two area business women who say they are proud to take on such an important piece of the 50 state National Child Abuse Prevention Month campaign. Life Coach and Author Lara Sansen of Fair Oaks along with Real Estate Broker KellieJo Lovato of Sacramento have joined forces to coordinate this effective event.

Sunrise Event Center Will Host Kick Off of 50 State Campaign

“We are more than delighted to be sponsoring this important effort once again and take pride in hosting such a significant a special series of events” explains Rhana Dahduli, owner of Sunrise Event Center (11167 Trade Center Drive Rancho Cordova,CA.)who is providing the event venue for this three day conference which includes a reception, rally, grand gala dinner then departure of Koss Kountry-4-Kids A Journey-4-Justice.

Festivities are created to call attention to this nation wide month long effort devoted to strengthening society so we may create more caring communities for children, providing a platform to perform better protecting our young ones all year long.

Learn how to help your trees develop good structure and form.  A variety of pruning tools will be presented and discussed. There will be a walkabout on library grounds to look at tree structure and pruning. The tree pruning clinic is presented by the Sacramento Tree Foundation in partnership with Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD). It’s generally regarded that most young children have a fascination with animals. Whether it’s the indoor housecat or the goldfish in the fish tank, many kids have a natural tendency to gravitate towards animals. The Effie Yeaw Nature Center located in the Ancil Hoffman County Park in Carmichael has taken advantage of this fact by providing free programs nearly every weekend. These programs teach about the natural wildlife right here in Northern California.
