Arden Hills to Host “Lavish & Fabulous” this Thursday Evening! | Style

    Complete with a red carpet and champagne welcome for guests, Arden Hills Resort Club & Spa has teamed up with Fearon May Events to present “Lavish & Fabulous: A Couture Bridal Event,” in association with Real Weddings magazine.  Already the premier wedding venue destination in the greater Sacramento area, Arden Hills is proud to host this exclusive bridal event on Thursday evening, October 25, from 7 to 10 p.m.  

    With eye-catching table top designs created by national award winner, Fearon DeWeese of Fearon May Events, “Lavish & Fabulous” is not a typical bridal event with traditional vendor booths.  In 2010, “Lavish & Fabulous” received a national award from NACE (National Association of Catering Executives) for “Best Conceptual Table Presentation of the Year” and was nominated as one of the top five events in the nation for “Best Event Production.”   More than 400 guests attended the show last year and organizers are predicting even more this year.

    At this special event that caters to the modern and couture bride, cocktail attire is suggested for guests interested in an evening of fashion, food and fabulous vendors while feasting their eyes on five thematic table top areas all while sampling delicious foods from local restaurants and tasting delightful wedding cakes from some of the area’s best bakeries.  The guests will “Walk Down the Aisle” at an Indian-inspired ceremony set up prior to entering the main room to give them ideas and inspiration for their own ceremony. The grooms are even treated to a courtyard with a New Orleans theme that includes live music, a cigar roller and even a balcony to throw beads.

    Interested couples, friends and families can indulge their creative side while browsing and exploring five distinctive thematic areas that include the following: Neon Circus (perfect for a unique wedding that is looking for some circus inspiration); Winter Bling (think “bling!” with one giant 10-foot tree drooping in crystals as the centerpiece); Boho Chic (for the Bohemian bride who like the natural elements with fun vibrant patterns);  Vanity Fair (inspired by the magazine this table looks like it is set for a Hollywood starlet including lots of bright lights and oversized vanity mirrors as a backdrop); and Futuristic Love (with a plexiglas table that lights up and giant lamps that provide a futuristic look). This unique and highly creative approach provides brides and grooms with inspiring ideas, concepts and new trends that may be helpful in creating and personalizing their special day.

    “Lavish & Fabulous” is open to anyone 21 years or older and offers an evening to inspire, imagine and indulge.  Tickets cost $15 in advance (or $20 at the door) and include complimentary beverages and food sampling.  In addition, guests will receive trendy “swag bags” that include fun giveaways and information about all participating vendors.
