Amy Jacobson Kurokawa is News10/KXTV's My Neighborhood Producer. She has over 15 years of production and programming experience in digital media and traditional television. Amy has created, developed, written and produced entertainment lifestyle, news, sports, reality and cross-promotional programming for CBS, E! Entertainment Television, Warner Bros., Universal Studios, Scripps Networks, IMG and many others. Amy’s digital media expertise is in iTV, broadband, cross platform, and branded entertainment. She is passionate about creating seamless, interactive, socially engaging, cross-media immersive experiences.
Amy is the Founding and Residing Chair of Producers Guild of America Northwest and a senior board member of the PGA’s Board of Directors and New Media Council, and Chair, iTV committee. She is also a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ Interactive Media Peer Group. Amy has been a mentor for the AFI Enhanced TV Workshop, now known as the Digital Content Lab. She is also a founding member of the Interactive Television Alliance and an advisory board member for sponsorKIDS Peace Journey.
